Wallet Compatibility
Last updated: April 28, 2026
ParyonUSD requires a compatible Bitcoin Cash wallet. For the best experience, we recommend Cashonize which has full support for all ParyonUSD features including token metadata display.
This page tracks the compatibility of popular BCH wallets with ParyonUSD tokens and dApp features:
- In order to send and receive ParyonUSD tokens, the wallet must support CashTokens.
- In order to display token units, icons and tickers, the wallet must support BCMR.
- In order to interact with the ParyonUSD dApp, the wallet must support either WalletConnect or WizardConnect.

Cashonize
Cashonize is the recommended wallet for ParyonUSD. It has full support for all features.
All token types (PUSD, PUSD-LOANKEY, PUSD-STAKE) can be sent, received, and displayed. All dApp features work as expected including borrowing, staking, and redeeming.
It has BCMR support for parsable NFTs to display staking receipt details as well as the ParyonUSD BCMR extension to display loan metadata on loan key NFTs.
Cashonize Web has been successfully tested on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Brave.
Cashonize supports both single-address and HD (multi-address) wallets. We recommend single-address wallets for use with ParyonUSD unless you are an advanced user with an understanding of HD wallets.
Paytaca
Paytaca can receive, display and send ParyonUSD fungible tokens (PUSD), staking receipts (PUSD-STAKE) and loan keys (PUSD-LOANKEY).
For Paytaca we recommend connecting to the dApp via WizardConnect, which works nicely with HD wallets. Note that delegated interest rate management is not available over WizardConnect, so loans created through this connection must use a manual interest rate.
If you are an advanced user with knowledge of HD wallets, Paytaca also supports WalletConnect with a choice of address to use and a Deposit button to fund that address in the WalletConnect page. For most users we do not recommend the WalletConnect path with Paytaca.
Known issues:
- Does not support BCMR parsable metadata for the display of staking receipt metadata.
- Does not support the ParyonUSD BCMR extension for display of loan metadata on loan key NFTs.
Electron Cash
Electron Cash is recommended for advanced users only. It can receive, display and send ParyonUSD fungible tokens (PUSD), staking receipts (PUSD-STAKE) and loan keys (PUSD-LOANKEY), but token metadata (icons, tickers, units) is not fetched automatically: when you receive a token for the first time, you must manually import its metadata before it will display correctly. This is an advanced step that less experienced users typically find confusing.
To import metadata: in the CashTokens tab, right-click the token and select “Fetch Category Metadata”. You will need to do this for each new token category (PUSD, PUSD-STAKE, PUSD-LOANKEY).
For most users we do not recommend using Electron Cash to borrow, stake or redeem PUSD. If you are an advanced user with knowledge of HD wallets, you can use Electron Cash with ParyonUSD by installing the third-party WalletConnect plugin.
Known issues:
- Token metadata must be imported manually per category (see above).
- Crashes and bugs have been encountered during testing of ParyonUSD over WalletConnect.
- Does not support BCMR parsable metadata for the display of staking receipt metadata.
- Does not support the ParyonUSD BCMR extension for display of loan metadata on loan key NFTs.
Selene
Selene Wallet can receive, display and send ParyonUSD fungible tokens (PUSD) and staking receipts (PUSD-STAKE) but should not be used for loan keys (see below).
It has BCMR support for parsable NFTs to display staking receipt details.
For most users we do not recommend using Selene to borrow, stake or redeem PUSD. If you are an advanced user with knowledge of HD wallets, Selene does support WalletConnect but the feature is experimental and you cannot select the address which gets linked.
Known issues:
- Can receive and display but cannot send loan key NFTs (PUSD-LOANKEY). This means they become stuck in the wallet. You can recover the wallet in Cashonize or Electron Cash if this happens.
- If you see a pixelated icon for your tokens, that is a blockie. Tap it to toggle to the ParyonUSD logo.
- The first time you receive ParyonUSD tokens, the icon might take some time to be displayed and a blockie will be shown instead. Restart Selene if the ParyonUSD icon isn’t shown after 15 seconds.
- When receiving an NFT (e.g. PUSD-STAKE) two banners are shown: one for the BCH and one for the NFT.
- Ticker symbols are cut off after the hyphen. PUSD, PUSD-STAKE and PUSD-LOANKEY are all displayed as just PUSD.
- Does not support the ParyonUSD BCMR extension for display of loan metadata on loan key NFTs.
