ParyonUSD Launch Day

ParyonUSD Launch Day

ParyonUSD Launch Day#

ParyonUSD is live on Bitcoin Cash mainnet. Roughly a year after our public announcement at BCH Bliss 2025, PUSD is now a real, usable stablecoin on BCH. You can connect your wallet and borrow against your BCH or stake PUSD to earn yield, starting today.

With the protocol live, PUSD can finally do what it was built to do: solve real problems for BCH holders and open up new financial opportunities on the Bitcoin Cash network.

Token ID#

ParyonUSD, ticker PUSD, is a fungible CashToken on Bitcoin Cash.

  • ParyonUSD Token ID: 2469acc5afa4b10cb5b5c04afb89c3a3ffd61c5da9c01e26d00951cae2a02544

PUSD has 2 decimal places, which means the smallest base unit of the token is 0.01 PUSD (one cent). We’ve also added the token ID to the landing page and the FAQ so it’s easy to find and verify from a canonical source.

Live Stats and Metrics#

We’re also launching a dedicated stats page with live data and metrics from the protocol: stats.paryonusd.com. It shows the current state of the system: total PUSD in circulation, total collateral, stability pool size, active loans, redemptions, and more. Whether you’re a user, a potential integrator, or just curious about how the protocol is doing, this is the place to watch.

Documentation and User Guides#

Alongside the launch we’re publishing full documentation covering everything you need to get started. The most important pages for new users are the user guides:

  • Borrow Icon Borrowing: how to open a loan, manage collateral, and configure your interest rate
  • Stake Icon Staking: how staking works, how rewards accrue over epochs, and what to expect from liquidations
  • Redeem Icon Redeeming: how redemptions maintain the peg and how the process works end-to-end

There are also getting-started pages like the introduction, a quick-start guide, wallet compatibility notes, and a glossary. For readers who want to go deeper, the technical section covers the architecture and the smart contracts.

If you’re unsure where to begin, the introduction and quick-start pages are the right place to start.

Protocol Minimums#

Two minimums are hard-coded as constants in the smart contracts and apply at all times, not just during launch:

  • Minimum loan size: 100 PUSD
  • Minimum stake size: 100 PUSD

Launch Window Restrictions#

On top of those protocol constants, two additional restrictions are active during the initial launch window:

  • Maximum LTV of 55.6% (minimum 180% collateral ratio). New loans must be opened with at least 180% collateral, well above the protocol’s ultimate 110% minimum. This acts as a safety buffer while the stability pool is still growing its liquidity.
  • Redemptions disabled. The redemption mechanism will be enabled in a follow-up step once the system has been running smoothly for a period and the stability pool and borrower base have grown. In the meantime, the peg is supported by the dynamic interest rate and by the well-funded stability pool ready to absorb liquidations. PUSD can be traded against BCH on CashTokens DEXes as usual.

Try It and Tell Us What You Think#

PUSD has been a long road, and it is very exciting to finally have it in your hands. If you hold BCH and want dollar-denominated liquidity without selling, try opening a loan. If you want to earn yield on a BCH-native stablecoin, try staking into the pool. And please, let us know how it goes. Bug reports, UX feedback, confusing copy in the docs, ideas for what you’d want to see next, all of it is useful and all of it shapes where we go from here.

Ongoing Contract Security#

Smart-contract security is something we work on continuously, not a box ticked at audit time. Alongside two external audits, we keep running follow-up reviews with the latest frontier AI models, which have become a genuinely powerful tool for surfacing soundness issues. The most recent pass led to a small set of post-audit hardening changes which are all up in the contracts repository; see post-audit-changes.md.

Addendum: Verifying the Mainnet Deployment#

For anyone who wants to independently confirm that the live deployment is wired up correctly, we’re publishing a standalone verification tool. It takes a deployment configuration and its genesis transaction IDs, reconstructs the expected contract addresses from the audited artifacts, and walks the five genesis transactions on-chain to confirm each tokenId was created at the right address with the right NFT capability, commitment, and fungible-token data. If anything is off, it fails loudly; if everything matches, you have end-to-end assurance that the addresses your wallet interacts with are the contracts you think they are.
